Mad Radics Sound System, now active for nearly a decade and operated and run by Selector/MC, Rebel Cush, plays regularly across the South coast from Hastings to Brighton to Southampton and many other places in between.
Playing a wide selection of Roots Reggae, Steppas and Dub, the main objective when launching the sound system in 2017 was to focus on promoting the anti establishment, anti political aspect and rebel spirit which comprise some of the core sentiments of Reggae music. This focus still remains the same to this day, and each set is delivered in a way that is somewhat thought provoking and educational, yet simultaneously fresh, entertaining and uplifting to the listener.

In recent years, Mad Radics, through dedication to the music, the people, and through supporting and collaborating with nearly every sound system in the Southern and South east areas, whether holding the mic in sessions or doing guest sets, has established itself as a known and respected sound within the scene. Currently, the sound system itself is being completely rebuilt with a target to re launch in summer 2026, and followers can also expect brand new musical productions by Rebel Cush to be released this year on a brand new label.
