Launched in 2023, Funky Ones focuses on the broken drum patterns of UK Funky, Amapiano, Gqom, Afrobeats and UK Garage and draws inspiration from record labels like Hessle Audio, Livity Sound, Timedance and Wisdom Teeth. From our Amapiano special at French's, we have a mix from BUNCH - a DJ known for their eclectic taste in dance music and all things bassy.

BUNCH aka the world’s fourth tallest professional record collector aka Bunchosaurus Wrecks has been a regular fixture in the Hastings music scene for the past 10 years. A collector at heart, BUNCH has amassed a substantial music collection (both vinyl and digital) primarily focused on bass music - covering everything from Dubstep, Grime and UK Funky to Jungle, Techno and Drum & Bass. They are the founder of Wheel Up, Funky Ones and This Ain’t A Scene, co-director of Sonics Collective CIC, and fully fledged card carrying member of the Fraktured Planet crew.
